Just Fooling Around...
Too hot to go outside - although we did for a while... watching Matilda play in her clam shell full of water.
Slightly cooler tomorrow - downgraded to 37C, I think.
Was fooling around trying to feel cool, although we are really lucky, no airconditioning and house is wonderful, listening to a classic mix that just happened to include Ravel's Bolero. Which led me to the Winter olympics, which made me think of 1984 Olympics (Sarajevo?), and of course, Torvill and Dean. Still cannot for the life of me figure why people who looked as ... ummm British as they did, could pull out such a tour de force. Checked it out on YouTube, and I hope Channel 9 repeat it at some stage during the broadcasts - which I may watch ... sporadically...
Then i went on to iGoogle and decided to change my theme - and found a Reg Mombassa theme! Gotta love it. Still have to buy L another Beer Tree shirt to replace the one I borrowed - that was stolen after Tascape one year.
Which gets me to thinking about the first one.... and still the best. Even if we had another, like a 10 year reunion one, and Ben and Claudia turned up, it wouldn't even come close to how special that was. We were so lucky.
