What??
We're walking them, as dogs need to be walked. And we've not ever walked Precious or Tink regularly. The walking has made them all more calm and cooperative.
Buying into what again? The fact that I am taking the time to give all three dogs a happy, calm and loving environment where they can exercise, play and be cared for?
Calm-assertive does not mean agressive. There is no hitting or yelling at or pushing of the dogs. I'd suggest you watch the show, but it seems you've already written it off as crap. Considering it's on National Geographic Channel, not CBS, NBC or comedy central.
We chose to make changes to how WE behave to help them change, as the dogs have been digging in the back yard to get to the neighbors dog, and then get out to the street from his front gate. Lani has taken to nipping at Tink to play, Tink is being overly agressive with toys, they are chewing up our throw pillows. So we thought it was time to make changes to our daily routine with walks and play time and such. I mean the changes are SIMPLE, minor, making sure the dogs don't walk us, but walk WITH us... I mean the leads are totally slack (they could walk right out of them) but they stay right beside us now, and don't bark at other dogs or people. Try watching the show, it'll make more sense.
You may get a surprise when you get her back, as her living arrangements changed, her position in the "pack" changed when she got here (she's not the only dog in the house etc.) and we're a different family. So, it's altogether possible she's gonna behave differnt. You work with her how you see fit. You asked us to care for her, and we are. She's still a loving, happy and playful dog. That is who she is, and always will be.
As for filling you in, I have called, and kept you up to date. The times I called you didn't seem too interested but I still call. You've yet to call to check on her. I am sure you are busy.
