What was I going to write?
I had intended to write about an art exhibition I had a letter about today, but I just read my Flist and the first thing I saw was Marc's journal saying he had completed his new album and had posted tracks on his website! So I had to stop what I was doing and go listen to them! Bloody hell...but he has surpassed himself this time! The tracks he posted are just GORGEOUS!!!! Now all I need to do is find the money to buy a copy (easier said than done right now as there is precious little spare this month for luxuries like CDs!) not to mention the other two I have yet to acquire!

OK, Scottie....that's the plug.....do I get a freebie now? (That was a joke, by the way.....the man just lost his job, so everyone go buy all his CDs and let him afford to eat again!)
OK....the art exhibition. Just got invited to submit a couple of paintings to an exhibition which is being held as part of this huge country show called The Tendring Hundred Show (Tendring Hundred is the name of a peninsula in Essex, in case you are wondering. And yes..we DO have daft names round here!) which is held in July. It's a farmer's show, with all sorts of country displays, you know the sort of thing...heavy horses, cows, pet shows, (even a Best Goat show, Trev!!! LOL!) and they also have a marquee for local artists to display their work. The show attracts thousands of visitors, so I would be mad to say 'no', and as luck would have it, Chris is not working that weekend, so we could all go down there and make a day of it! I can submit 2 works...so all I have to do now is decide which ones! I think I will wait to decide after this weekend. With two exhibitions and a craft fair running simultaneously I will air on the side of optimism in case I actually sell something! I won't hold my breath too much though!
Right....I am off to see whether I can find some spare cash that Chris doesn't know about to earmark it for Marc's CD!
