It snowed here last night! It suddenly turned really cold and the rain, that had been falling without stopping all day, turned to great big bits of cotton wool! We didn't have much though....just a slight covering really, but it was lovely. This morning, when I went out to take Chris to the station at 6.30am it was crisp and clear, but we hadn't had any more snow. The cars doors and window were all frozen up though. Started first time anyway.
School run was a lot better. Simon turned up wearing a very fetching bright red wig (for Children in Need) and I had to do a double take at first. I knew he was off to Gatwick airport this morning and thought the boss had sent someone in his place. I was just about to make a quiet comment to Vera about the 'state of the driver today' when I caught Simon's grin in the rear-view mirror! LOL! He said that the wig was very warm, and on a day as cold as today, someone as folicly challenged as Simon needs all the help he can get!
Took Emily to the orthodontist this morning. They took all her tracks off!!!!! She now has beautiful straight teeth! She has to go back next week for a retainer to be put in place, but at least now there is daylight at the end of the tunnel!
I won't be about much over the weekend. I'm at this craft fair all day tomorrow (unless I either sell-out immediately or not at all..in which case I will stay till lunchtime). Emily is helping me out so it should be fun. Would also be good to sell some of my work!
We live to dream.
