Full day Saturday part 2
After I left Graywhale I picked Fred up at his dad’s house. It was good to see him. He was so glad to get away from family. Lol. That always makes em laugh.
We got to the house and Cheryl and Fred met. He can be so funny. We all hung out until it was time to leave for Kelly’s roller derby bout.
We got to the bout and the parking lot was completely filled up. Of course this was after we were lost as to where the place actually was. I swear, even if someone tells me they know where somewhere is I am map questing or Google mapping it. We drove around for a while trying to find it in the first place. Grr!
So I dropped off Fred and Cheryl and parked in the upper parking lot. I really got the crappy end of the deal. The wind was soooo cold! I was pretty pissed by the time I got inside. Then I had to stand in line even though I had already bought my ticket. Talk about annoyance.
I got in and the bout was just starting. We found Cheannoen and Debra and sat on the floor in front of them. Cheannoen was nice enough to give Cheryl his seat and sat on the floor.
The bout was good but Kelly’s team lost. So far I have been to 2 bouts and both times Kelly’s team has lost. Not quite sure what to think of that one really. But it was fun anyhow. Next time, seriously need to be early!
After the bout Fred really wanted to buy Kelly a drink so we went to the club. I don’t hardly ever drink so I don’t drive if I have been drinking unless I can wait for a while before I drive. I really didn’t want to hang out all night in the club. I couldn’t drink and it was so claustrophobic. Too much for me. I finally got Fred and Cheryl to leave.
We went back home and we all stayed up chatting for the rest of the night. I finally took Fred back to his dad’s house around 2am. Then I went home and played on the internet until about 3am when I knew I needed to get to bed because the morning was going to come really early and I couldn’t be late to tea.
