Hey, there. I'm strolling through on account of the SGA-race discussion.

I'm Haitian. And I grew up in South Florida. I don't believe in exotic people. I believe in exotic plants.

For me, I get tagged with 'exotic' bunches. It's tiresome. What's exotic for some is 'girl/guy next door' for others. But tell that to people who are handicapped with the belief that normal=them=white.

delux_vixens told me recently due to all of this that I should not mention to anyone who is white that I am 'Black-East Indian-Amerindian' mixed and also Jewish, or their heads might explode.

So I hear you and hear you.

Dreads is definitely girl/guy next door for me. (Also, Mom, Dad, and Uncle D)

You might want to tell them you're white just for the effery factor. :) That will 'cause a short. :)

And yeah, exotic is only exotic outside of its home-town.

I think someone East Indian should truthfully tell them that they're Caucasian. Because they are.

well, not all white people. just the special ones who think you are exotic.
