The logic and reasoning behind his critiques lacked any good logic and reasoning behind it. Sometimes Ebert contradict his own logic when comparing one movie reviewed to another or, in one case, one movie he produced compared to a movie he reviewed. It helps to see an opinion from a movie review or two, but I usually evaluate a movie by these criteria:

• Does the movie title start with the word "the", "a", "an"?
• Is the movie rated R or NC17?
• Does the movie contain a line up of creme de la creme cast?
• Does the movie have may favorite actor/actress in it?
• Is there any possibility that the movie will have a music score/soundtrack containing heavy metal?
