Summary: Flying with Viktor is a special time for Hermione.
Hermione looks forward to her flying lessons with Viktor more than anything else, even being in class. When she’s wrapped up in Viktor’s strong arms as he tries to show her how to guide the broom, she feels safe. For the short period of time when they’re in the air, Hermione can forget all of her worries and fears.
As the cold air hits them and Viktor laughs at her startled gasp, Hermione doesn’t have to be the Gryffindor know-it-all, or one third of the infamous Golden Trio. When Viktor shows off to her when they’re on his broom, she can be just a girl who’s with a boy who’s trying to impress her so that he can steal a kiss from her when they land.
