Colder than a witches tit
Tonight we braved the cold weather ( - 8 below ) to watch Sweeney Todd in Mosinee. I thought the movie was very interesting and even though i normally don't enjoy musicals i liked the singing...apparently a little too much because i can't get the songs outta my head now. No matter how unappealing they try to make Johnny Depp look in this flick he is still oh so sexy!
Lisa's appearance on Judge Mathis aired yesterday and i missed it because i had to work and besides that the t.v is still broken, luckily Tina recorded it on DVD and she promised to burn me a copy! I will definately be posting it in my Family Hall O' Shame file..hahaha. It wouldn't be so bad if they had actually won the case, and to make matters worse they got yelled at by the Judge too. She was actually only there as a charactor witness for a co-worker who had "supposedly borrowed money from another girl and didn't pay it back according to the lender. I tried warning Lisa not to get involved because she doesn't know this co-worker all that well, the whole thing was televised,and the shows' contact person kept changing the amount they would get paid for going on, and last but not least the damn show is taped next door to Jerry Springer..enough said.Just One more thing, the production assistant promised to provide transportation to and from the show.....they mentioned a limo but instead sent tickets for a Gray Hound bus LMAO! Poor Lisa, well atleast she can say that she's actually been on t.v and has a funny story to tell about it.
Last night Dean and Beth brought over the x-mas gift they bought for Charlie... a brand spanking new computer!!!!!!!! A long time ago Dean promised to build Charlie his very own gaming system, but i figured he was just talking. Charlie and Dean are always teaming up on WOW and now that i use the computor more i guess that stops them from "leveling their characters and completing quests"hehehe, so Dean decided that Chuck should have his own. So now i guess we won't have to fight over who gets to go online first lol, mine is by my craft room and his is down stairs in the living room.
p.s The post i made the other day on " Parents and depression" was posted because i am tired of people saying how sad they find it that i don't want kids( the other day someone asked me AGAIN if i hated children ) i couldn't believe my ears! I love (most) kids and my nephews and neice have stolen my heart,but i am completely content without children. Inf act Charlie is looking into possibly getting a vasectomy in the near future, and IF for some reason in the future we start longing for a child of our own we could always adopt .... another dog hehehe, no but seriously adoption is a good avenue for those who want a child. Oh and while i'm bitching i also want to add that i hate when others say that in order to have a real "Family"one must have kids , well pardon moi' but God never passed me that memo.
