Diving back into fic...looking for feedback

So I've been re-reading my WIP stories, "Viva Revenge," "The Pensieve" and "The Secret Life of Draco Malfoy," trying to get a handle on how to approach them now. Sadly, it has been about a year since I've worked on any of these. For those of you who followed along and supported my work, I sincerely apologize for letting you down

I think that you could still post as you go along - only at your LJ and with a note to the readers that updates might be far and few between, and that if they don't want to wait so long between updates, they should just wait until the story is complete and you share it elsewhere.

Personally, I'm of the 'wait until it's finished' side of the fence, but only for myself. While reading WIP's that never get updated can be frustrating, it is the norm to update as you go so I'm quite use to it. Plus, as you said, feedback as you go along can be very valuable for you. I don't like to post stories until they are complete because I know myself and because I know I'll end up not working on them eventually - for real, not just taking a break 'cause of a hectic RL.

Basically, if I were you, I'd share it on my LJ - with a note about the updates. You could even go a step further and have it flocked or something, and just add people who wants to read it to a filter - but that probably isn't necessary and locking stories is not something I'd suggest.

Thanks, Ree... hope you'll want to beta for me again. And yes, if I do post I'll make it clear that there could be long breaks. I think that the main thing is for me to just start writing. Even if it's crap. (Though I'll try not to post crap!)

Cool and thanks... yes, feeling a bit of the bug, though it is like catching lightning in a bottle right now. Feeling really drained today, but I may try and do some writing tonight.
