[ Izaya sighs looking over his paperwork. So he had a roommate and was going to be going back to school. He wouldn't say he was excited, but oh well, at least now he could learn how to eliminate get Shizuo out of his hair-- maybe. He set the papers down and groans with a hint of irritation. ]I need to get out of here! This is so irritatingly boring

[ So, Shinra here stalks the infirmary because that's pretty much his only real hobby around here. And. He heard about someone being admitted with a stab wound. Now stab wounds aren't all that interesting in Ikebukuro, especially with the kind of crowd Shinra usually treats, and he's not sure how special they are here even considering there's a major in bladed weapons, but.

The point is there's potential for something juicy. Like maybe a lover's quarrel. Or a jilted lover's revenge. Or something.

Not to mention puncture wounds in of themselves are fascinating in nature, given all the complications that can present depending on the depth, angle, and type of wound in addition to any number of possible contaminants and--

Okay, the point is Shinra's bored and a stab wound's the most excitement they've had around here since the Garden fell into the sea. So here he is, venturing into the infirmary to see who is recovering from a stab wound.

[ Izaya looks up from his own angst, his eyes meeting Shinra's at the door.

[ He blinks and sighs, of course, this is Shinra. He smirks some and tilts his head to the side. ]

[ Izaya looks up from his wound and smirks rather sarcastically in the man's direction. Not recognizing him by sight, nor sound, he had to wonder just who he owed the pleasure. ]

Lucky is a very subjective word. Do you believe in luck?

[ He tilts his head to the side, his eyes attentive to this mans every move. ]

[Catching the boy's gaze, Albert allowed a friendly smile to grace his features in an attempt to seem genial. People are more willing to speak to a jovial fellow than a frowning one.]

[ Izaya's lips twist a bit tighter, amused by the cat and mouse game that they were headed towards. He rubs his bandages idly, enjoying the stained color of blood on the gauze somewhat less because it was his own. ]

I don't believe that at all. Nothing is coincidence, it's just patterns repeating themselves over and over.

[Axel might drop in to see if he died yet. Is Izaya decent under that hospital gown? Either way, Axel slips into the Infirmary and looks around.]

[ Izaya looks up, his shirt open sporting his totally chic bandages, wrapped around him and over his shoulder for support, a bit of blood staining the gauze. ]

Oh, well hello. It's the guy with the exceptionally interesting hair. Is it full of secrets or something? Is that why it's so big?

[ He smiles casually, no malice in his eyes. ]

Not dead yet, huh?[Axel snorts, raising an eyebrow at this state of undress. It's like asking someone to cut your belly open, Izaya. He walks over and takes a seat on the end of the bed.]
