I'm surprised you weren't informed earlier, dear. Today is All Hallows' Eve, or as most refer to as, Halloween. A night where spirits of the deceased roam about freely to visit loved ones. Or haunt the unfortunate miscellaneous.

The following day is All Saints' Day, where said spirits return to the Land of the DEAD.

The former holiday is more widely known for its overabundance of candy and other teeth rotting treats.
