It's truly a waste of a species otherwise well-fitted for greater endeavors. But there must be limitations on all things, and this seems to be the block for most people.

Everything has its advantages. Whether those advantages will remain perpetually remain to be seen; I don't think I've quite reached a high enough level of cynicism to pass judgement definitely on that.
