[Most people had decent superpowers, like flight or super-strength or super-speed. Growing up without them hadn't really made Cissie envy her peers, especially since she was pretty used to her own supervision and enhanced reflexes.

So when Garden suddenly went bonkers - again - and even Cissie got a power, she thought she should be elated. After ( Read more... )

Get out.

[ His reaction isn't even surprise anymore, not with seeing people run all sorts of abilities and people sneaking into his room back home. But it's not like he allows her to go freely, blocking the doorway as Erik glares at her. ]

[Oh dear god. Cissie's pretty sure she's blushing so hard as she rises to her feet.]

I'm so sorry...! I swear, I didn't mean to end up here.

[ Erik regards her with a cursory look, sprawled all over his bathtub. Suffice to say, he's partially amused by her response, an eyebrow raised as he hides the thin smile on his lips, obscured only by his dry response. ] I'm sure you didn't.

Learning to teleport?

Yeah. The learning curve's pretty bad. [She bows her head in further apology.] You'd think it gets easier, but no... it really doesn't.

You could have simply knocked on the door and asked, you know. I may be frigid, but I haven't sunk to the point where I'd deny a complete stranger use of the facilities just yet.

[leaning on the doorframe, and...nah. she can't get upset when the other girl is sitting in her bathtub.]

[Immediately rising to her feet now! So she wasn't in her bathroom... well. Her roommate's going to be amused when she finds out.]

I'm really sorry. I just... let's just say I don't like my superpower very much.

I couldn't tell. Do you often use it to admire the decor in other's bathrooms or is this a new hobby of yours?

If I ever use it for bathroom tours, feel free to smack me. That'd be a sure sign that I've totally gone mad.

[ And without missing a beat or showing any surprise whatsoever while she's washing her hair... ]

One does try to warn you Cissie, my dear. One does try.

[ Actually, she kinda looks amused. ]

And yet I never learn. Go figure.

[She does attempt to avert her gaze, partially because welp, this is weird and partially because she's got standards. Really.]

[ A chuckle as she reaches for the towel. ]

Oh come now, dear. It's a common mistake for those unaccustomed to having such abilities... Don't be too hard on yourself.

[ Drying hair now. ]

Are you alright though? Haven't been anywhere dangerous?

[Still trying not to look at Layla, Cissie fiddles with her t-shirt in slight frustration.]

For the most part, yeah. Nowhere dangerous... though I did end up in the boys' locker room earlier today. [She smiles so very, very sheepishly.] If you see something weird in the gossip column, that would be why.
