Okay, think the embarrassment from this weekend's died down enough for me to say sorry to anyone I kinda fell on. That happens even when I'm not drunk (someone spiked the punch. Who spiked the punch?) so...yeah.

Anyway, since the next quarter's starting soon, I was wondering who's specializing in Computer Science or Piloting? Or both.

[M'gann had seen Rikku's entry on the BBS earlier in the afternoon, but seeing as they were roommates she thought it was much more appropriate to talk about it in person. She enters the room of the inn they're staying in and upon seeing Rikku, she lights up.]

I saw your post on the BBS! Are you thinking about taking up piloting?

[Rikku rolls over on her side, grinning]

Yep! It sounds fun!

I'm a piloting major, too! Maybe be in classes together!

Of course! Have you ever piloted something before?

Sorta. We have an airship back on Spira--the only one in the world--buuuut I've only got to pilot it once and with my brother's help.

[M'gann is clearly impressed at this bit of news, and she's practically leaning off of her bed as she looks at Rikku with excitement.]

Really? How big is it?

[Rikku pulls out a sketchbook and shows her the rough drawing of the Fahrenheit she did, including the dimensions. Unfortunately, she's got everything in Al Bhed and doesn't realize it.]

[M'gann is amazed by the size of the airship, but the odd language also quips her interest.]

Is that the language from your world?

[It takes her a second to see what Megan sees]

Oh! No, that's Al Bhed. Uh, I'm Al Bhed. It's...I guess my native language? Is that the term? But only the Al Bhed speak it so it's not the language all of Spira speaks. ....Did that make any sense?

That makes sense; the world I'm from, many people speak different languages depending on which part of the world they're from. It's always interesting to hear a new language! What does Al Bhed sound like?

Like this. Some words don't change from Spiran to Al Bhed but most do.

Want me to teach it to you? It's really easy to learn how to write, and it's not that hard to learn how to speak, even if the letters get all mixed up in non-Al Bhed speakers.

[When she writes in Al Bhed, her writing's all pointy, but it's a lot swirlier when she writes in Spiran/English. So this double alphabet that she's writing Megan is all over the place in terms of style]
