Is the moon special in any of your cultures? Or do you perhaps think of anything when viewing it?

[That's up all day. And then ACTION for tonight.

If you happen to wander outside tonight, you might spot Japan set up on his own NEAR ONE OF THESE THINGS. I have no idea what it is but that's okay, the point is he's sitting there with his lonely ( Read more... )

Oh yeah, the moon's plenty important for us back home! See, it's kind of shared by three gods... and it's a symbol of the Ananda clan.

We knew the lunar god! He's a pretty chill guy. My big brother's twin.

Well, yeah. We kinda work with em!

Don't think they're the same gods from the world you come from though.

That is still quite amazing. I have met a god here, but never before then... How do you work with them?

Well, there's a demigoddess from my world here too!

And uh... I was kinda born into the job, yeah? Make sense? You can kinda say he's my half big bro, that moon god!

Really?! So many incredible people, and gods it seems, tend to appear here.

That is quite fascinating... I am pleased to be able to speak with you!

No no! It's great being able to talk to someone who likes hearing about the old days! It's a dying interest.

Don't think we've met before...

I am quite fond of 'the old days' in any sense of meaning. I am not sure that we have. I am Japan.

Japan? Well, pleased to meet you, Mister Japan sir! I'm Shin.

I'd be happy to tell you more if you're interested! But you seem specially drawn to the moon though. Mind if I throw your question back at you?

The pleasure is mine, Shin-san.

I do appreciate the moon. For instance, tonight I will be celebrating the beauty of the moon. I generally hold a festival, but, the moon also reminds me of other nostalgic things... And it is quite difficult to find the proper things for it. But the moon is quite beautiful.

Wow... Erebus would've been honored to hear that! I'll make sure to tell him about it if I see him again.

But that's pretty awesome. We never did anything like that back home. Is that common where you come from? And what sort of nostalgic things?

Those on my side of the world tend to take some meaning in the moon, at least. Though China-san disagrees with me on what can be seen... The differences are small, and it is always appreciated.

...I suppose I recall watching the moon with someone I used to live with.

That sounds pretty cool, the whole... moon viewing thing! Sometimes, that moonlight needs a little appreciation.

Hey, what do you see when you look at the moon anyway?

I certainly agree!

In my home, the moon appears to have the image of a rabbit pounding rice cakes. At least, that is what I see quite literally. Though my mind often wanders to nostalgic places...

That sounds like a pretty cute image! A bunny pounding rice cakes. Unique way of looking at it.

And if you don't mind me asking all sorts of stuff... what kind of places?
