Uh. Are these computer-console thingies supposed to talk when I touch 'em? Because this one just did, for like a second and then it stopped.

If you are then so am I.

For some reason we're becoming technopaths. I think others are experiencing sudden onsets of new abilities, too.

With everything going on, yeah. Technopaths have the ability to manipulate technology. Sometimes it comes through a form of electrical/telekinetic manips, morphing with them and mental interfacing. "Talking" with the N-tab is a bit of a combo with the mental interfacing and telekentic manips, I think.
