Not a school I'm familiar with, but this place is pretty varied in terms of multiple 'verses.

Right. Usually not up there with English and Mathematics. Sit down, if you're not already.

Short story; there's at least 52 known universes at any given time. Think of them as a "what if" scenario, come alive. Universe 1 is where you chose Option A and Universe 2 is where you opt to go with B. It's not surprising to come across an alternate of yourself, or even someone you know.

Here, though, we're dealing with the addition of a Time Compression, where we seem to "slip" through not only our individual 'verses, but also time. We can even come across someone from a few years forward or backwards in terms of weeks, months, years and more in our lives.

Take a few mins to let that sink in.

I've found some reports put out by the those researching the Time Compression.

Not to mention, the multiverse isn't exactly a rare thing where I'm from.
