[ Cloud's making his way through the hallways, rushing between classes, when he almost stumbles over someone sitting against the ground. They're obviously distressed, and while it's not really Cloud's place to interfere, he can't very well ignore them entirely ]

Everything okay down there?

[OH GOD WAT there's a person talking. Is he talking to her? Is it someone she recognises? She briefly tilts her face to take a look, before burying it again upon discovering that no, it's not someone she knows.

Does she answer him? ...not for a moment, but then...]

I don't know what to do.

Oh. [ Cloud furrows his brow, briefly glancing around, as if he's actually going to spot something that will help in this situation. Of course, he finds nothing, and it takes him a while to say something more ] Are you lost... ?

[scream_resonate]

[He's still here? Crona thought he'd left before she'd mumbled anything.]

No... I know where I'm supposed to be, but...

[ he scratches the back of his neck, still glancing around awkwardly, despite the fact that they're not actively trying to make eye contact with him. Reassuring people definitely isn't his forté, but he knows just leaving without so much as a word will probably be worse than anything he says ]

Not fitting in so well, huh? [ that said, he sits himself down on the floor, a comfortable distance away ]

[Crona hears the movement, and reluctantly lifts her head again, wondering what he's doing. Oh, he's staying with her? Crona doesn't know what to do with that.]

Not really, I think... I don't know how to deal with so many people in a weird place. It's too different.

[ Cloud nods in understanding. Really, a lot of people seem eerily alright with the whole situation, and are acting as if they've simply transferred to a new school - he doesn't doubt that they aren't freaking out on the inside, though, but they do keep themselves strangely well composed. Cloud isn't sure how they manage to keep up the façade ]

It's way too crowded in here. Maybe you should just skip whatever class you have now. Go to the Quad or the library, where it's not so busy.

[Not that the thought never occured to Crona - here or at DWMA - but whether it's a good idea or not, she's not sure.]

But then I would get into trouble, right? I can't handle that - people yelling at me, I mean...

If you just sit on the floor, you're gonna miss your class anyway. Either way, you might get in trouble. [ pauses, realising that he's not putting forth a particularly good argument ] You won't get shouted at, for missing one or two classes. I think...

But classes are important, here, so I thought, well... I suppose...

[A point is made. No matter what she does, she's unlikely to actually attend this class, so... Crona finally gets up off the floor, assuming her usual slouched posture.]

I... I'm going to go back to my room.

Alright. [ pushes himself back to his feet with one want ] Want me to go to your first class, and tell the teacher you're sick or something?
