[ It's hella late for an intro, isn't it? But ah, well. Euphie's out in the front lobby, just past the staircase that leads up to the elevator. She's standing there because her bag tore. .w. Shouldn't have checked out all those books from the library, Euphie. Now her things are all over the floor and she has nothing to put them in. Sigh

[ C.C. would have just as easily passed by if she didn't spot that flash of pink... in a style she's familiar with. Blinking, she steps closer and stares. ]

You're...

[forfaithful]

[ Euphie sees C.C. out of the corner of her eye and blinks, pausing from picking up her things to face her. ]

Ah, yes?

[reortus]

[ Composes herself quickly and turns to look down at the spilled books. ]

Couldn't contain yourself with the Library, hm? [ Stoops down to pick up a book and examine the cover. ]

[forfaithful]

[ That prompts a laugh out of her as she nods. Looks like she's been called out on her addiction. ]

I'm afraid once I stumbled upon the culture and history sections, I couldn't quite stop myself. Even the flora and fauna here are eye-opening. I don't think I'm going to sleep for weeks.

[ She offers C.C. her hand at that. ]

I'm Euphie.

[ C.C. briefly wonders if what Euphemia called "flora and fauna" to be the Grats housed in the Training Center before she blinks at the proffered hand. After a moment or two, C.C. slips her hand into Euphemia's. ]

[ ...that is a very strange name you have there, young lady. It's two skips away from being C4. But she doesn't want to be rude, and a name is a name, so she just nods and shakes C.C.'s hand. ]

It's nice to meet you. Are you new to this school as well? [ Because she swears she saw recognition in your eyes not moments ago. ]

[ Recognition? What recognition? Never mind the fact that you should be dead at this point in time... ]

Yes. Since a few weeks ago now. [ She takes her hand back, then looks at the other books scattered around their feet. ]

[forfaithful]

[ ...the part where you looked at her like a ghost, yeah. :| ]

Oh, we must have arrived at the same time then. Ah, sorry about the mess. My bag gave up on me just as I was getting down the stairs.

[reortus]

That should be an indication to the staff to get more durable bags.

[ In a rare act of kindness, C.C. bends down to pick up more of Euphemia's books, despite their individual sizes combining. ]

[forfaithful]

Or for me to invest more time in the library so I'm not trying to defy the laws of physics. [ Euphie's voice is light and joking as she goes to pick up the rest of her books with C.C.'s very gracious help. ]

[ Her response is a small smirk before turning to the elevator. ]

Well, I was thinking of putting all this back in my room until I get myself another bag. I'm on the first floor.

Same destination, then. [ Presses the button to summon the elevator. Once it's there, C.C. walks through the open doors and looks at Euphemia. ]

Are you on the first floor as well? Or did you mean lunch? [ Euphie falls in step behind C.C. even as she speaks. ]

Hm. Both. [ Smirks to herself. ]

Oh, I see~ Shall we, then? [ ...she's getting the feeling like C.C.'s keeping something for her, but she can't for the life of her think of what it could be. :|a ]
