[ It's hella late for an intro, isn't it? But ah, well. Euphie's out in the front lobby, just past the staircase that leads up to the elevator. She's standing there because her bag tore. .w. Shouldn't have checked out all those books from the library, Euphie. Now her things are all over the floor and she has nothing to put them in. Sigh

Heading over, she nods and crouches down to help collect the books.]
Hello. Where might you be headed?
Reply
Say, don't I know you from our first period? Garden Code, I believe. [ And then Euphie pauses from picking things up to offer Mjrn her hand. ]
It's nice to properly meet you. My name is Euphie.
Reply
My name is Mjrn. It is nice to meet you, as well.
[She glances to her own bag and peers inside.]
I still have some space in my bag. I can aid in bringing them along to lunch, if you wish.

I do not have room for them all, but I can manage enough, that you may not be overburdened. It is no trouble.
Reply
Shall we, then? I haven't quite made any friends yet, if you'd like to have lunch together.

[Mjrn stuffs most of them in her bag easily enough, though holds a couple of the books in her arms, not wanting to make the same mistake that Euphie did. She nods and follows, with a slightly sheepish smile.]
I had thought to visit the Training Center...but that is best done during my free period, regardless.

[ It's not her scene, but she doesn't begrudge anyone else for it. In fact, she admires that kind of strength when it's not abused. ]

I enjoy challenging myself, yes. I began to learn ways of combat while in my own world and this one provides sufficient opportunity.
[She glances over to Euphie, curiously.]
What do you prefer, then?
Reply
Change through words and reform is slow, but... If I can save even a single life in trying, then it is worth the effort.
But, I do enjoy the challenge of bettering myself as well. Back home, my sister often instructed me on the use of firearms and piloting Knightmare frames. I enjoyed the time with her.

Diplomacy certainly has its place. Though I cannot claim to have any notable skill in that area, I understand preferring the use of force as a last resort and not the first. Your stance is admirable.
[She tilts her head, curious.]
What are Knightmare frames?
Reply
They're humanoid machines, though they're much larger than a person. I believe average is around... four or five meters? They've primarily taken the place of infantry soldiers, and now the army is trained to pilot Knightmare Frames rather than engage in firsthand combat.

It sounds very...efficient? I wish I could see them. Such technology is does not exist in my world, at least that I am aware. Yet, there are means enough of combat available. Perhaps too many.

[ Euphie sighs at that, nodding sadly at Mjrn's comment about means of combat. ]
I think even a few are too many, but hopefully that can be changed in time.
Reply
Aye, one may hope. And in the meantime, there is still much to learn.
[Upon reaching the cafeteria door, she holds it open for Euphie.]
Combat and diplomacy aside...what interests do you favor? Have you joined any of the clubs?
