Like I said, I'm just asking out of curiosity. There're a lot of people from a lot of places here, and it'd be nice to know how many of them I can talk to without wearing a translator.

I'm multi-lingual. The better question would be to ask which languages I don't speak.

Primarily dialects of other languages, such as Ometo, Luhya, Kangri, and Mazandarani, though I never bothered to learn languages with only a few million speakers either, like Lithuanian or Tsonga. [Full of shit or totally truthful? That's for you to decide.]

At least, that's where I came from. Apparently it's changed names since the last time I visited.

I don't use it as often any more, but I've still got it.

What do you speak, then?

Mainly Greek, Persian, Arabic. Those are the ones that get me to most places that I need to go but I'm not bad with languages, so long's someone's willing to teach me. I'm a lot better with speaking than writing, though.

Speaking a language is far more useful than writing it, though both serve their purposes.

No kidding. I didn't have any need to write before I got here. Sure, I had to read every so often, but if I had to pick I'd go with speaking every time.
