[ Yuna is preparing to move on to her next class, staring absently down at the ground -- though she's not exactly in a hurry, considering it threatens to send her to sleep every time she attends it -- when she looks up and notices Vincent hurrying down the hallway. Or perhaps flying might be a better term.
Luckily, she's paying attention to where she's going at the right time, or she might have crashed into him and ended up landing in the fountain or something. She's not exactly very heavy or physically strong. But she manages to swerve out of the way before that happens, blushing a little. How embarrassing! She'd have to make note to be more careful in future, so as to avoid looking that clumsy. ]
I'm sorry, sir! [ She bows her head a little, still unused to the customs of the Garden -- and the fact it wasn't really that necessary to observe formalities in the hallways. ]
[ The brunt of the embarrassment is Vincent's; having already barreled over (literally) one of the petite female cadets, he's fairly mortified to have almost added a second victim during his escape. ]

[ He knows something of science, enough to know that random samples ought to be...random. And so it strikes him in this moment, with only half of this girl's bowed face in view, that it simply cannot be a coincidence that so many young women in Garden are so lovely. ]
[ And Yuna is fairly mortified she almost barreled into him, too! However, she is going to stop bowing now and look up properly at him, since he sort of trailed off with his last sentence. Obviously she has no idea what he's thinking or her blush would just get worse, but instead she's going to offer him a polite smile. ]
...from what I've learned so far, though, SeeDs must always be observant. I guess I still have a long way to go! [ ...so it's not a very funny joke, but considering Yuna is way too serious for her own good, it's something. ]
[ Her features, and the air of seriousness, of purpose, which she carries reminds him of someone. He hadn't noticed it, or her, in Garden Code that morning (busy as he was, attempting to remain invisible), but now that he's got a proper look at her, it's almost a shock. The impact is sudden, and strong. ]
[ ...Yuna really has no idea about the effect she's having. But she thinks Vincent is somewhat similar to Sir Auron in a strong, silent way-- but although his features are younger, he somehow seems to act even older and wiser than Sir Auron. Yuna hadn't really thought that was possible. But she supposed that it was only inevitable to meet a new range of people in a place like this. Especially a situation like this. ]
I suppose that's true. [ She clasps her hands together. ] My name is Yuna, by the way. [ Secretly, she is kind of glad that she gets to escape the "Lady Yuna" persona here. Although the people of Spira hadn't viewed her that way recently, her guardians had still clung to the name at times. ]
[ Finally having a name --the proper name-- to attach to her face helps snap Vincent back into reality. He glances back over his shoulder as though he was expecting pursuers, or looking for someone else she might be addressing instead of himself. ]
