[ Weasel and reaper were walking past, splitting a muffin between them when they caught sight of the girl. Silently, said ermine hops off her shoulders, taking the girl's jacket with her from where it was slung over the opposite shoulder before quietly walking over and making the jacket as a makeshift pillow for girl and Luxray. ]

M-mm..? [Dawn stirs for a moment, her eyes fluttering open. Well that was a short nap.]

Huh? What's.. what's a dog? [Still groggy, she yawns a bit and sits up, her Luxray looking at Goose with an expression that says 'Y u wake master up jerk'.]

[He has this look of like DUHHHHHHHH. He also wasn't very good at understanding animals, so he just took that look of "YOU DICK" as a look of curiosity. PETTING TIME.]

This is a Luxray. My Luxray, to be exact. [And don't you dare pet him. He's starting to snarl a little..]

[He was definitely NOT interested in her well being.

He was... uh... checking to make sure she wasn't dead. Yeah, that was it. She looked dead, all huddled up in that weird blue spikey-looking dog.

Damian absolutely, positively, in no way was checking to make sure she was okay when he leaned in to check if she was breathing. And he was definitely not checking to see if she was crying.]

[Her Luxray was definitely, positively NOT suspicious of this guy.

He was also definitely not growling rather viciously. Dawn's eyes flutter open as she felt the vibrations come from her Luxray to see a boy inches away from her face.]

[The dog didn't scare him. In fact, he was determined to pretend the dog wasn't even there. Mainly because the thing looked weird and he didn't want to try to figure out what the hell it was.

The girl waking up when he was that close to her was an entirely different story. He quickly threw it into reverse, almost stumbling to his ass at one point, but he stopped himself with a back flip.

Now that he was at a safe distance away (at least 3 feet) Damian tried to put on a stoic face.]

[... Well that was dramatic. Dawn blinks a couple times, just to make sure she's actually awake.]

[ Claire is never going to understand the seeming fascination some cadets have with sleeping outside their rooms! This one even has a strange... er... animal with her, which has the young instructor standing a touch farther away than she normally might have. Her expression is no less vaguely agitated, however, as she tries to decide if 1) it's worth addressing, 2) how if so. ]

[Dawn, however, is obviously paying no heed to Claire. In fact, she rolls over, burying her head into her Luxray. She begins to snore a bit.

Luxray is less than relaxed, though. He looks up at Claire and snarls a bit. Get away from master!]

[ The luxray's snarling works under the assumption that Claire will be at all intimidated by it. She's not, and... really, that? It makes her even more determined to do something about it; even though she makes no move closer, she also doesn't back down at all. ]
