[The solid walls and thick ceilings are a bit much for someone unused to them; even windows aren't much help, especially when they're glazed

[Katsura would have laughed right about then, but she's just gotten a sense of the troll's age, close-up--and this is not the Vol'jin she knows from Orgrimmar. She doesn't quite falter, but she does change what she was about to say.]
I suppose it's a human thing. Are you settling in well, then?
There are. However, they don't seem to have the mentality that you and I should be slaughtered simply because we're here. I've decided to take advantage of that.
[Not that that might mean anything when she returned to Azeroth.]
If there is any way I can be of service, I am Katsura Sunarrow. [At which she offers a small bow.]
It should be easy for you, then? And if that is true [not that she doubts it is, it's Shadow Hunter Vol'jin for Sunwell's sake!] then you should easily be able to help the others in my class who might need it?
That help, I would definitely appreciate, if you could find it in you to do so.
[He's a teenage guy and a sort of cute (so she could use some tusks and another foot or two of height, so what) girl is complimenting him and asking him for his help with no downsides that he can see. New Shadow Hunter or not, it's nice. He grins a little.]
I'm fairly certain I have time, I've turned in my expectations for the semester. Where would you like to go first? Clearly, you've seen the Quad, it's all around us, right now.
Also, don't mind my pet. He's a shale spider with a tendency to hide in wooded areas, but he'll probably follow me through the halls. He's over there. [This would be the time where the blood elf points to the rocky looking spider with glowing yellow eyes hiding amidst some underbrush.]
That's Sulphur. To you, he's definitely harmless. To the grats in the Training Center, not so much.
[He gathers up his papers and stretches tall, working out the kinks from having been sitting down writing too long. And yep, there's a spider. Kind of a strange-looking spider, but hunters' pets are trustworthy enough in his experience.
Training center... Had there been something about that in one of the papers?]
Nice spider. Trainin' Center be for fighting, hmm?
[Probably a bit of both, as Kat was never a big fan of cities unless absolutely necessary to enter them.]
Grats look like plants, sort of. Four leafy protuberances up top, four legs down below, the rest resembles a pitcher plant of sorts. They can spit poison and drain your strength if you aren't careful. There are also T-Rexaurs and other things--T-Rexaurs are like devilsaurs, or very, very large raptors. Very large raptors. [Stressing the 'very large' bit. She lowers her voice, then.]
I think one of the other cadets has made a home out of a cave, but that's something that the Headmaster would probably frown on, if he found out. [Which also means that it's something Kat plays dumb about.]

[At this, she smiles.]
Were you considering taking my class? I'd be honored to have you, if so.

The Training Center might be tolerable, though, seeing as its walls are somewhat obscured by trees and such. It looks like a jungle in there.

[Another tusky smile. Either she knows trolls, or she's a girl after his own heart...]
