If it's a video game, it's the most zidgit one ever.

What the hell's an eight-track? I've only seen CD's--and those're outdated by my standards.

yeah i hear you
ive seen some pretty terrible games in my time though and this one beats them
by like fucking miles and miles of points

an eight track is this obsolete piece of shit
that was pretty much useless before it was even invented
i dont even know why they were so popular when they were around
from like the 60s to the 80s
thats 1900s because im pretty sure if cds are outdated to you then you are from flying car futureland
or pretty close to it because theyre still relevant in the early 2000s so

Unfortunately. You get used to it after a month or two.

Slag, that was forever ago. We don't have those here - or Blu-Ray either - just CD's and DVD's and stuff. Neo-Gotham has plenty of flying cars but it's no futureland... I think. It was 2043 for me back home.

fantastic
i look forward to being here for a few months
taking all of these classes and trying to get to the cafeteria in time for hot dogs every day

gotham wow
now i know this place is more than just a jrpg action-adventure
im feeling so nostalgic jegus
its
well
was 2009 before i got sucked into the other video game i was stuck in
so not as futureland as i figured but youre still a ways ahead of me
good to know we finally caught up with the jetsons and got our damn flying cars

I don't want to be here either, but it's not like we can do anything else. Also: the hot dogs aren't worth the rush.

You've heard of Gotham? That's schway. No one ever has. [He lies, his old roommate subjected him to Batman and Robin.] We've had flying cars and trains and buses and everything for a while, but I don't think it's like the Jetsons. That's the really really old TV show, right? With the weird guy who gets fired every episode?

Oh god Dave you're such a nerd what are you doing. toocoolfor May 9 2011, 23:38:54 UTC
nah we cant
i mean i already gave time travel a shot and failed so might as well sit back
but good to know now i wont be trapped in an eternal stampede to the cafeteria

yeah man ive heard of gotham
home of the dark knight the most feared vigilante around
who the hell has never heard of gotham thats almost unamerican
like hating apple pies and being against gun ownership

shit i love how you know about jetsons but not eight tracks
he got fired like every episode and then got stuck on his dogs treadmill in the credits
and had this robot maid
you guys have robot maids or is that not for a while

... beautifully breaking Damian's brain? *o* bratbeyond May 9 2011, 23:47:39 UTC
You're a meta? Ya Allah, Garden's going to have a field day with that.

Most everyone here. Or else Batman's a comic book and not a real person. It's so un-schway.

My dad liked old cartoons but not old technology. It's not really a surprise once you know that. We have robot maids too but I don't like them. They're kind of mean and scary and expensive, so not everyone has them either. My parents just had old-fashioned human servants to take care of everything.

He'll be happy to continue. toocoolfor May 9 2011, 23:56:58 UTC
in your worlds terms
yeah im a meta and im gonna enjoy whatever shits are flipped by garden

i am about to be un-schway
because where im from he is a badass motherfucker
but he is totally a comic book character

clearly when you go back home you will have to educate him as i am educating you
but yeah even with the three laws of robotics i wouldnt trust a robot maid with my shit
like how long would it be before they were questioning orders and then breaking the big numero uno
then mankind would be screwed and wed have to deal with robot overlords making us do their chores instead

yes please! Day won't know what hit him. bratbeyond May 10 2011, 00:14:46 UTC
Are they at least good comic books? Because if it's anything like that bad movie with that California governor, I'm gonna kill someone.

Your robot laws are weird but sure, I'll tell Giddo and the old man if I ever go home. Really, the robots weren't a problem so much as the Jokerz.

poor bb. We'll make it up to him by teaching him to be cool. toocoolfor May 10 2011, 00:20:56 UTC
oh fuck the governator ahahaha
shit that movie was terrible
they totally rebooted the franchise not that long ago though and its actually pretty good
especially compared to that campy shit
but the comics range in goddamn awesome to godfuckingawful sorry to say

lots of shit is weird bro
you are talking to a guy from 2009 on a forum in a world full of magic and monsters
though at least i know a little bit about your world
and am going to assume thats something to do with that sociopathic clown joker

He'll appreciate it! ... Some day. bratbeyond May 10 2011, 00:32:32 UTC
So there's better stuff out there? Good. As long as the old man and the Robins don't look rainbow, I could care less about them.

But this world isn't as weird as home. Home's weirder. [... well, he is from the DCU.] Yeah, the Jokerz are a zidgit street gang who try to act like their dead boss Joker because they think it's schway. Batman and Robin're pretty good about stopping them most of the time.

One day! toocoolfor May 10 2011, 01:00:14 UTC
at the very least i think theres only a couple where their suits have nipples on them
which is probably just really fucking awkward for you if you were subjected to batman and robin
you should punch whoever made you watch that shit

ok you got me there
homes pretty weird for me too
but this still registers on the strangeometer
but at least i dont have to deal with a gaggle of morons trying to imitate a crazy clown
only have to deal with one clown and hes a juggalo alien high out of his mind most of the time
pretty damn harmless

Wish I could. He disappeared a few months back. Time Compression's weird... and I have it to blame for my week in the Ottoman Empire.

Be grateful. People didn't call Neo-Gotham "Murder Capital of the Universe" for nothing. Out of morbid curiosity: who the hell did they say was Batman in your world? It had better not be some zift.

No clue. Have fun finding out for yourself.

If there's a rule, I'm slagging glad you broke it. Slag, how popular were those comics? Ridiculously slagging popular? People fragging loved them?

TOTES ASKED FOR IT. toocoolfor May 10 2011, 02:03:46 UTC
