[ You've just saved her from gaining five pounds! You really are a hero! ]

[ She scoops up a few cookies and moves from behind the table to skip over to him and give him the very obligatory Vanille Greeting Hug, before getting on her tip-toes to offer him one of the cookies. ]

Say 'ah'-!

Who are you, Serah?

[Oh please. Being hyper like Vanille would burn off those calories in no time flat.]

[And, teasing aside, he obligingly opens his mouth for a cookie. And, uh, ducks a little, because let's face it, Vanille on her tiptoes still doesn't exactly have the height required for this maneuver all on her own.]

Nope, just someone making sure everyone gets their daily serving of sugar!

[ Because that's the most important thing in the food pyramid! ]

[ She giggles and slides the cookie on in before dropping back down to her heels. ]

[Serah settles down at the table next to Vanille, eyes skimming over their stock curiously before smiling at her friend and classmate.]

I was sure you'd have eaten more of the cookies than that by now, Vanille.

I've been holding back..!

[ She says it almost like a whine, because she really does want to eat those cookies..! ]

Well, at least it looks like there'll be plenty for you to eat later?

[Serah might be subtly encouraging Vanille to eat another one, possibly because she's tempted to eat another cookie herself.]

If no one else wants them, that's going to leave it up to you and Snow to polish them all off.

We can definitely handle that!

[ She giggles and turns to look at the cookies sitting lonely and uneaten on the table. ]

[ And it's clear from her furrowed brow she's trying to fight the temptation. ]

[Rinoa leans back in her chair, staring up at the trees with a sigh. She hadn't even made these ones so they were actually edible and yet there still wasn't hardly anyone around.

Turning to look at her newest classmate, a chipper cadet who honestly reminded her of Selphie at times, she made a face.]

I'm beginning to think it'd be better if we just took the plates and wandered the halls looking for people to feed cookies to.

[Worst case scenario she could probably find a way to con Squall into eating a few despite his known distaste for most sweets. Too bad Zell wasn't around, they'd have no cookies left if he was.]

That might actually work. [Gabriella giggles, helping herself to a cookie - hers, as she knows, are pretty delicious] People can't resist cookies if we ambush them on their way to classes.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me, either..!

Maybe it's just because no one needs to come to the quad today..? Maybe they're all studying...

We should go to the dorms, too! And the halls... And maybe the cafeteria, too?

Cookies make a great dessert after all, so it'd be great to give cookies out to people who just finished eating. [Rinoa nods, warming up to the idea quickly. It had been a joke at first, but anything is better than just sitting here doing nothing all day.]

So the library, the cafeteria, the dorms, and the halls? That should cover just about everybody don't you think?

[An extra little bit of mischief showed up in her eyes then.] Unless you want to find a way to get a cookie up to the Commander that is.

[Heck yes cookies! Don't mind Tom carefully snatching one from her hands.]

Thanks! I bet it tastes great. [Without hesitation, he plops it into his mouth. Yum.]

[ She watches him eat with a curious expression. ]

Weeeeeeeell?

Told ya. [He's practically beaming as he grabs a couple more for the road] They're awesome. Honestly, the cookies're one of my favorite parts of HEC.

Mine, too! [ And she was happy people were actually coming to get some! They'd been sitting there so long. ]

They're fun to make, and even more fun to eat!

[ And she really wants to grab one for herself, but... Restraint, must show it. ]

[Squall's not in Vanille's HEC class ... but he's cutting a shortcut through the Quad at the same time the class is going on. The sight of all the cadets makes him pause about three steps in, head lifting to take in everyone moving around.

He lowers the documents in his hands and looks around. So maybe heading out to the courtyard isn't that good of an idea right now...]

[Unfortunately for Squall, the HEC class as a whole has shown up in honor of this occasion, the occasion being class obviously. On the bright side the cookie Rinoa's holding, as she heads over to see just what he's up to, isn't one that she made herself. Those ones had been declared a hazard and properly disposed of right after they were taken out of the oven.]

Squall!

[She waves with her free hand before walking a little faster.]

I didn't expect to see you down on the Quad today, but I guess at least this way I don't have to go all the way up to your office. [Smiling she holds out the cookie expectantly, gesturing for him to take it.] Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Mikuru made this one so it'll even taste good!

I was on my way out to the courtyard. [He looks down at the cookie, wonders for a moment if she made it, but nope, apparently not. Reluctantly he reaches to take it; Squall's never been much of a junk food person.]

Going for a walk? It's a really nice day, so you picked a good time for one.

[As he takes the cookie, she blurts out a question since it's weighing pretty heavily on her mind now.]

Do you even like cookies? The girls and I were talking about it earlier and I realized I'm not entirely sure what sort of foods you like.
