[As usual, Gabs is reading a book as she walks through the hallway, completely unaware of her surroundings---and of course, she bumps into Zelos. With only a second to look, she jumps back.]

I'm so sorry, m'am! You okay? [... sorry Zelos. He's temporarily a she.]

[Did she just call him ma'am? ...well, she has got her head stuck in a book. Rather than react with offense or anything though, he decides to make a show of looking around.]

Ah, were you talking to someone, adorable little bookworm?

[Bookworm isn't the cutest nickname. Hm. Better revise that.]

Oh, jeez. [she blushes, clutching the book to her chest as she nervously smiles back at Zelos] I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to---it won't happen again.

[Waves a dismissive hand.]

Oh no, don't you worry about it! I don't mind pretty girls bumping into me at all - being called ma'am, though...? I'd keep your head out of the books while walking, hm?

It probably wouldn't hurt, yeah. [sheepishly hits her forehead] Are you a new Instructor here, sir?

You betcha! Just starting out.

But... I gotta say, being called "sir" isn't too cool either. How about just Zelos, all right?

[beginsoffstage]

But that'd make me feel bad. [can't help smirking a little as she holds out her hand] You're my Instructor, so I need to treat you with some respect in class.

Maybe once I graduate?

Then "the Great Zelos" will work! That counts as respect, right? [A wink, just to show he's joking about.]

Alright then! You can call me Instructor Zelos Wilder, Elegant and Handsome Mathematical Genius!

Instructor Wilder, then. [not fooled by your charms, Zelos! Gabriella turns to leave, waving as she starts to walk off] I look forward to seeing you in the classroom.
