Sometimes I can't believe that I've been here since May. But I've gotten the chance to meet a lot of great people that I wouldn't have met otherwise, so I can't complain.

It's also a month away from my birthday and it's on a Saturday, so I'm definitely going to plan something fun that day. Staff and students alike are invited.

It really does. I don't know if it'll be a party, but something fun. It won't be on campus, though. Probably going into town for the day. Less Garden rules to worry about if we're not in uniform and not at Garden.

What sorts of fun things are there to do in town?

It depends on what town it is, really. I don't know where Garden will be on that day yet.

I'd actually prefer it to be somewhere familiar, that's used to off-worlders. My hair gets a lot of stares until people are used to it.

Really? Did you get a bad haircut or something?

[shops_a_lot]

Bad haircut? No. My hair is just not a very common colour. I don't really blend in. It's turquoise.

That's not so bad! You can wear a hat.

I think I'd probably have to get a wig if I wanted to blend in here. Or dye my hair.

Or you could wear it with pride. It makes you kind of special, right?

I guess it does! It wouldn't be good for having to sneak around on missions, but until I pass a SeeD exam, there's nothing to worry about.
