[While most people might be panicking, Marco is having something of an opposite reaction. To Marco, this is fun. So fun, that if it wasn't an Okama thing to yell "Hee-haw!" in his world, Marco might actually go JUST that far. Up until now only Grell has really seen Marco in full-out mode. But Marco's all out now, kicking things down the hall ( Read more... )

[She knows those flames. Don't mind her sighing at Marco's enthusiasm. This is supposed to be serious after all.

Not that that matters with him.]

Lighten up! It's like a party.

[Swoops in in hybrid.]

In that case, I am never going to any party you invite me to.

[But she laughs a little as she says that, taking your mixed form in stride.]

Oh, I think I told you about them before. Usually there's a lot more drinking and fire involved, but hey we're missing some of the people for that, eh.

But just as much fighting? [She's raising an eyebrow, partially dreading the answer.]

[Snickers evilly.] That completely depends on what's going on.

Usually we party before a big fight to work off nerves, eh. Although when Shanks showed up to tell us off for sending Spar-- Ace to go fight Teach, then there was fighting because Pops doesn't take demands. We partied once they cooled down though.

I miss it. But between Ace showing up and this, this place got a lot more fun, eh.

I wouldn't say fun, exactly, but it is more enjoyable than spending my hours in a classroom.

I like the classes, so that has to make it fun.

[She chuckles softly at that.]

We've clearly been cut from a different cloth. One day you will have to teach me how to see the classwork as "fun."

It probably involves completely different means of growing up. School's kind of a luxury in my world. And not something pirates get a chance for.
