Well... we wont be going out of town for our anniversary as I had hoped... P looked into hotel and b&b pricing and just deemed it was all too expensive. :( I totally disagree being as this time of year is the 'off-season' for Arizona and prices are very reasonable.. but apparently that doesn't matter... He is stuck on wanting to pay no more then $100 for the entire trip... Gee.. Where has he been that he did not notice that prices do go up? We aren't living in the 80's anymore! Silly me. I thought $160 for 2 nights at a B&B was a damn good deal. There was even a suite that was done in a red velvet victorian theme. Granted, it was $125 for one night, but I would have been over-joyed with just one night! The whole thing makes me want to cry. He has this habit of bringing my hopes up, only to dash them when he gets uncomfy with the price...
So yeah... So much for the much need vacation.
Anyway... worked on my swap a bit for spooky_mail yesterday. The theme for this month is 'Gothic Romance'. I keep trying to think of what to give my swap buddy that would make them happy and I have to keep reminding myself that what I give them is supposed to be what "MY" idea of the theme is.. If that makes any sense... So I am in the process of making myself not worry so much. I tend to over-think things. Just a tad. ~lol~
I won an auction for a custom tri-corn hat. Isn't it pretty? It will just take awhile to get to me because it's coming from the U.K. I can't wait.
P's dad is coming to get the little one so that will give me a chance to do some things. Or not. My back is really bothering me today.
