I just found out that my FIL flat-lined last night.
They were able to save him thankfully but... oh God... I just can't take this anymore. He was doing so well. I went to see him yesterday and he looked great. He was getting up and walking around often and everything. *sniffs*
Anyway.. they are going to put the pace-maker back in in a couple of days. They want to wait until the infection in his body is under control before taking the risk of any sort of surgery. If the infection gets into his heart he is as good as gone.

I think I am getting gray hair.
I need a good stiff drink now.
