I can't wake up...
My youngest kitten was hit by a car today. Dumbass ran right under the car and got hit by the back tire. We took him to the emergency animal hospital but didn't he didn't make it. The internal damage to his lungs was too much.
So now Im laying on my bed, his open casket next to me, stroking his fur because I can't bare leaving his side. My mind keeps playing tricks on me. I keep looking at him. He just looks like he is sleeping. Like ever so slightly, if I watch closely, he will take a breath.
I know he wont.
I know he is gone.
This is going to be an excruciatingly long night
