Yeah. I get trampled a lot too. Then sometimes I finally turn to the "nothing" side and then they get pissed off at me and wonder why I am acting the way I am and make their own assumptions, while all the time failing to realize that my actions are a direct result of the way I was treated. Gah!!! >_< It's annoying.
I am still at a loss of what to do about the in-laws. It seems no matter what I do, I can't win. The other day I wore my new white skirt and a pale blue top over there (because they always make comments about me wearing too much black). And my MIL says to me, "Is that your new skirt? It would look really good on you if it was black." ~blinks~ I think they just want to drive me away...
Well, really, if they don't like your "nothing" then, they should realize THEY'RE the cause of it! >:(
