Okay, so I have this thing at work. We keep getting all these requests from various government entities asking for payroll and HR information. Now, our payroll company is willing to create a database for us that has information for all of our CURRENT employees. Quicken (I use it) if a financial program. It's like a check book register.

Access would work for that. You would be able to setup custom fields to where the needed information would be inputed. Depending on what you need to do you might be able to get a template to help you get started in the direction that you want
