Well, I certainly took my time with this, didn’t I? But I think you know, Christmas and all that…

The chapter. Cameron and Tabor conspiring together doesn’t seem good, but I have to admit I was more worried at the beginning than at the end. I was expecting (afraid of) some deep and complex plotting, elaborate traps or bribes, but they basically simply agreed to exchange information and possibly support each other, that’s all. Which… is rather understandable and wise, but I still felt a bit underwhelmed.

Not that I´m complaining, Cameron is getting rather scary at times, so I don’t think our heroes need any more difficult obstacles.

And as for returning to Bozeman, that was incredibly nice to see. Especially the bit with Kame, Jin and the courtesan - oh Jin, you oblivious dummy :-D

My most favourite thing was Mr Harada; he´s one of the characters from the first book I remember well (I have to admit, I´m having trouble remembering the main villain’s name, Cameron´s old boss). He always felt to me very believable, very normal, very… simply good character. Not the best, not the worst, just trying to do his part and doing it well. And also friendly to Kame, which is always a bonus J Seeing him now, welcoming the two wayward riders with open arms was nostalgic.

And by the way - Bozeman got a horrible sheriff AGAIN? On one hand, damn, they can´t catch a break. On the other… really? What a surprise… (irony ;-) )

Overall, good chapter, I already told you the general story stuff before, so I won´t repeat myself here. Looking forwards to the next one J

PS: By the way, just a side note - I maaaaay have something for you to proofread for a change soon (should you would want to, anyway). I´m waiting until I have more than a chapter or two, since we know how that went before. O:-D

And don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about my deadline. I´m on that too. ;-)

I think that sometimes you DO expect too much... I know you know but still a reminder - this is a gay-romance first, a western second. And not any complicated conspiration drama...
Anyway, I can assure you that Cameron means more than enough troubles on the way.

I´m glad you liked the part with nostalgic return to Bozeman; I enjoyed writing that.
About the sheriff - nobody said he is horrible. Just useless. I´d say that´s quite a difference...

Working on the next one slowly, but working still. :´D
