I think Kame´s mother will survive (but question is in what state). She wants to meet Jin after all, ne?
I was a little surprised that Kame really pulled out the gun and almost shoot Grenet. I fell in love with Kame all over again!! He was so cool!!

I won´t comment about Kame´s mother for now, though...
When I tried to imagine what Kame had to felt in that moment, getting back to the city and finding what he found there, there was no other way he could react in. This is what fitted there the most, I think... So I´m really glad you liked it that much!! ^^

You´re right to worry for Kame´s mother, she really is in very bad shape... We will see about her next destiny in the next chapter, for now I completely agree with you - she is the one holding Kame in the city...
About Jin´s father crime... Well, I have to say that I´m having a lot of second thoughts about when this information will ´leak out´, and also about how Kame will react, but it will be revealed, that´s for sure...

But I am proud of all of the people who stood up to Grenet just now. And I really hope that's the sherrif. Really. Otherwise I might have to kill some people because Grenet has got to go down for everything he's done. It has to happen. Preferably a slow painful death but if not that then at least locked away where he can't hurt them anymore.

As for citizens standing up against Grenet - too much is just too much, and it had to turn against him once. I´m somehow happy and proud of them too. :)
It is not the sheriff, but otherwise you are free to speculate. ;)
And of course I will not say a thing about what will happen next, I think it´s about time I would set a real information embargo on my comments. :D
