Reading the papers this week has been troubling, to say the very least. To think that innocent people are being killed by something they can't possibly understand, or fight back against? It's terrible

There was an article in the paper about two murders recently, both with threatening messages left by Voldemort. The police are treating it as a serial murder case, and are looking for a suspect.

Yes. It seems that he-- or his followers-- are likely trying to intimidate us.

That doesn't make sense. If most people don't know that Voldemort is taking the lives of muggles and leaving his name behind, they can't be expected to be alarmed.

This must be to intimidate muggles.

That is what I meant, yes. I suppose I still feel closer ties to that community than the magical one, even now.
