I hope everyone had a good weekend. The sewing weekend went well. I made a blue brocade over-skirt, finished the fancy trim on a short linen chemise, finished a pair of long bloomers, and made Andrew a new kilt. I planned to make Katie new garb, but she has to settle on 1 design first! Got to see some old friends and got to know a few new people better.
It's going to be near 100 in DC today, so I plan to get the kids on their bikes in the next 10 minutes. I also need to water the garden. Mike forgot to do that while I was away... I also just downloaded the school supply lists for both kids. We should probably get out there and buy supplies now rather than later. I always wait too long.
