So Samhain is tomorrow and I feel badly that I plan to use a "canned" ritual. I would have like to put something new together but there's just too much going on. Aside from the election which distracts my every waking moment, I have to get the house cleaned and decorated (pirate skeletons climbing onto front porch with tattered jolly roger flying, sound effect CD), make the chili for tomorrow night (annual post- trick or treating party at our house), sew some velcro onto Drew's jedi costume, get ready for tomorrow morning's field trip (I'm chaperoning). Kate's school party, Drew's school parade, AND then prepare for Saturday morning which will include a cub scout service project (Scouting for Food) AND THEN an overnight campout Saturday afternoon. While the weather will be beautiful, the night will be cold (especially in the hills) and I need to find our winter camping gear. I know the gods will understand that family comes first... Still, bright blessings in advance to everyone. I will connect with my ancestors even if only in dreams for the next few days.
Speaking of dreams, what's with the zombie dreams,
irenejericho ?? I had one last night too. Not terribly disturbing, just extremely odd. I think I spent half the dream trying to decide whether they WERE zombies or anamatrons ("it's a small world after all!")
Enjoy, and pace yourself- that supply of candy needs to last through tomorrow night!!! ;-)
