(no subject)
We had our first scooby meeting in quite a long time. I got a call from Buffy asking me to find information on some sort of Gem of Amara. The named sounded familiar actually, but I couldn't come up with what it actually was. Oz was at my house at the time of the call, so we both headed to Giles' house, with me carrying my lab top.
Buffy was there, and seemed very upset. I asked her about it and she just told me she would talk later. The Gem of Amara was more important than what she was feeling right now. I plugged in my computer and Oz just watched over my shoulder. I kept glancing back at him, thinking of our sex on the beach. We have been living through all the "typical" romantic moments lately, and I have been loving every minute of it.
A few minutes later, Xander walked in!!! I chocked on my drink for a second, jumped up and my lab top fell on the ground. I realized that I had NOT seen Xander since he got back from his trip. I have been so wrapped up in Oz lately, that it hadn't even crossed my mind. I jumped up and gave Xander a huge hug, and told him that I'm sorry I hadn't come by to see him. He forgave me, but I could tell he was a little resentful. I started asking him about his trip, but Buffy gave me a "not now" type of look. I told Xander that I promised to catch up with him later.
As I was talking to Xander, Oz found something on one of the web pages I was browsing.
"I got something," he said. "Listen up... The vampire holy grail, a piece of jewelry believed to make a vampire wearing it virtually invulnerable."
Uh-oh... not good. I asked Buffy who she thought had it. She didn't know, but Xander cracked a joke about maybe Spike having it. I think it was more truth than a joke. Buffy rushed out of there as soon as possible.
The rest of us just looked at each other with looks of "what now?"
