So the pubcrawl was a grand success, I do believe! Even though I was DD, I met a few guys (Dreadlock!Warren was my soulmate, I'm sure) and got to suggest a whole bunch of drinks to my friends... And they enjoyed them! Everybody had such a great time. We met a LOT of people! The goal of the night was to take pictures with 25 random people off the streets / in the bars, and at the end of the night I think it racked up to about 50! Pauline, Alicia and Lauren all got phone numbers! Hahaw! Ray was excellent as our male escort, but sadly did not pick up any girls, at least not to my knowledge. This barhop will become a monthly thing, I think. But we will rotate DDs so I can actually drink (not that I'd ever get smashed because that's not cool).
Organic Chem makes me nostalgic for Science Fair. All this Thin Layer Chromotgraphy and crystallization reminds me of the days in Dr. Lowary's lab with Gladys (Tita Gladys! Inside joke, I'm sorry I brought it up) and Derek the graduate student. And Andrew's huge picture on the glass window of the flow cabinet... I think I'm going to cry!
For some reason, I'm still insanely tired from last night. Granted, not as tired as I was compared to this morning, 2 Red Rains later, but still exhausted. I've had a very lazy day just doing homework and what not. I went to the OSA pancake breakfast yesterday morning without eating breakfast, only to discover that all the pancakes had been eaten. Bummer. I got my yearbook, which just brought back all the memories from High School. My graduation picture "blurb" was finally changed to Freddie Mercury's "Fuck today, it's tomorrow!" quote. Of course, 'fuck' was changed to 'forget', which loses the punch, I think.
What does one wear to a 'dinner-and-a-movie'?
science fair,
day,
pubcrawl,
osa,
homework
