I do believe this 'Halloween' has to be one of the most useless not to mention tiring tradition I have ever heard of. Surely costumes cannot be a matter of utter importance the number of posts made as of late suggest. Surely someone must be seeing the sensible side in this.

Candy apples! It's a very popular Halloween recipe. Caramel, nuts, or just sliced and sprinkled with cinnamon.

They're really delicious! And popcorn balls are kind of cool. And candy corn. But the candy apples are my favorite Halloween food.

Oh, hardly. Being green is more than enough of a dress up, and even if I was insane enough to want to, I cannot.

And green's not that unusual at all. Lots of fishmen are greenish. And you're even prettier.

The ship has magicked a dress on me, and I cannot magic it off.

The... ship did? Well maybe it's just trying to be helpful? Go in a costume that uses the dress! And then everyone will think you just did it for Halloween and then once it gets used maybe the ship will be satisfied!

I am having a hard time accepting the theory that a ship can 'want' something.

It's the Grand Line. Anything can happen and usually does. And ships have feelings and souls too.
