Why do small electronic devices hate me?

My Aunt Mikey is the best in the world. She's sweet, caring and she always thinks to do things with us... she also happens to be really, really pretty. Anyway, she invited us over for Easter-egg hunting on Saturday, and that was fairly fun. I got more than twice as many eggs as my Almost-Uncle and my Almost-Cousin, (they got 7 and 8, I believe... I got 17) She also gave us our late christmas presents.

Mum got the digital pictureframe she's wanted for ages, and my brother and me each got MP3 players with video support.

So now I have a Sansa MP3 player with video, and a Coby MP3 player with Video, and yet neither will allow me to put Slayers or Fullmetal Alchemist on it. My new MP3 player, which is supposed to have E-book and picture support, won't let me put those on it either!

I've realized that this is a trend. My phone, which is supposed to basically be an MP3 player and such as well, doesn't let me do any of that either. The only thing I use it for is an occasional actual phone call, playing sudoku, taking pictures, and checking my livejournal from school. Though my background hates me and overlaps the sidebar over the regular text...

Why do small, 2 gig electronic devices hate me so much?

DSes and Gameboys don't hate me, however. Perhaps I should buy a DSi and forget about everything else? I've already been using my DS as an MP3 player for ages...
