[Kanaya spends a few moments with the settings, trying to figure out how to add the video. Now that she's learned there is more than just text functions to the sfc, she'll be responding to Feferi's video with her own so that at least her voice gets across.]

[So please feel free to glub and gush about some of your fonder memories, Feferi! Kanaya still feels out of the loop, and this seems like a way to balance curiosity and boredom.]

"WHALE. Stuff! I mean, I haven't really been here for much! There were pirates attacking people at some point, and salmon told me they just kind of, don't come into the city anymoor. 'Dinosaurs' attacked, oh! We saw our thoughts in little bubbles too! Which wasn't bad at first but, it quickly started getting dumb. Hmm, anything else that has happened since I got here, I missed I guess!" [She sighs, rolling over onto her stomach and holding the communicator so it can just see her eyes and up.]
"As for other things! Quadrant dramaaaaa. Heehee. But, as I told you before, after Sollux broke up with me I kind of just feel out of that whole loop! Which, makes it a LITTLE albalonely, but, a lot less stressful then it cod be. I just hope I can be there for any of them when they need it!"
"What about you? What have you gotten done since you arrived? Oh! Did you find a plaice to live?"

[Kanaya tries to follow as much as she can, but the fish puns and references to unfamiliar terms like 'dinosaurs' are a little distracting in person. When she hears about the break up, she frowns sympathetically.]
"I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you have been well considering the circumstances."
[Oh is the focus switching now? A small jade-green flush begins on her cheeks.]
"I met Karkat my first day here and he told me about how using the coral means we don't need to sleep... so I have spent the last few days exploring. talking to people and periodically touching it. I haven't decided where I want to live, just yet."

"Oh! Do you want to crash at my place while you're looking around for your own? We can be roomies! It'd be so exciting!" [Having someone else at home would be pretty nice! Especially someone so easy to talk to like Kanaya. It'd be sad when she left to go to wherever she finally decided to life though.]

[Answering two out of three of her remarks is pretty good. Kanaya will simply have to try to get better timeline explanations out of everyone later. Feferi seems to be changing the subject now... and that actually sounds like a pretty cool idea.]
"That sounds like a wonderful idea, Feferi. I would appreciate your company."
[Feferi's sfc is still turned toward the sky, isn't it? If she's turned it back to where she can see it, Kanaya is smiling widely.]

"REELY!? HOOOOMY gosh. I'm SO EXCITED! We'll have to get you moved in right away! I live on the second floor, room 5, of the Larmline Aperchments! Um, but I'm in the park right now, want me to come and find you?" [Her voice is rather frantic right now, Feferi seems to be as excited as she says, standing up now and already heading away from the pond.]
[She probably smells heavily of that lake by now.]

"I do not think the move will be very tasking, as the only belongings I've acquired I've been storing in my captchalogue for simplicity's cake. Meeting somewhere would be for the best, as I don't know where that is."
[Kanaya glances around her surroundings for a moment, then nods]
"I am, perhaps ironically, sitting on the edge of the same fountain you found me at."

"Oh! We can swim by the parlor and get some ice cream before we go! It's soooo good! Would you like to do that Kanaya?"

"I think I'm going to be confused by nautical puns for a little while, as it occurred to me that swimming to this parlor might actually be necessary. But I suppose all of vatheon is in this single bubble. And yes, I would."
[Kanaya has been a bit lonely and wanting to meet up with all of her friends! Of course she will take this opportunity. She's also curious about what ice cream is like, as that's not exactly a typical snack for someone from a desert.]

[Don't mind the clinical word choices, Kanaya's face and tone betray a bit of enthusiasm for the idea. The sfc is tucked away and Kanaya rises to join Feferi. Lead the way!]
"Feferi, I was just remembering... You said the Larmline hivestem correct? Is that the one that several of the others live in?"

[Kanaya is also attempting to shrug it off. She doesn't want to meddle, and she's still too new to the situation to have a sense of what would be helpful. Perhaps a topic change is in order?]
"What is ice cream like? Or should I simply wait to experience it myself?"

"You REALLY should wait for yourself, BUUUUT, it's so good! And there are so many choices and colors, and flavors, and oh my gosh it's amazing, you'll love it! You can pick anyone you want!."
