Ch-ch-changes
I'm in work the noo, my polymer is in the freezer, and no one is around so I'll use this opportunity for an update. So the last time I updated was 3 weeks ago, more or less, and my GOD things can change in 3 weeks. Moved into my new awesome flat 2 weeks ago, started my new job last monday, had my birthday last wednesday and had my housewarming last Saturday. I've got everything I wanted and I feel so happy and lucky!
I'm working for a Polymer company and we basically specialise in femine hygine products, specifically a product that induces birth in pregant woman. I'm in research and development, so I get to mess about with the ratios of chemicals in the polymer to alter their hardness, consistancy etc :) I haven't made any polymer myself yet, because you need to use a massive reactor, and I also need a gas mask which they haven't ordered me yet, but I'm happy doing testing and stuff for now.
My birthday was great. Went to TGI's with mum and Helen and got food and cocktails (helen got a non alcoholic one) then went to see Hairspray in the SECC which was awesome!! So much cheesey goodness. Has inspired me and Puggs to have our very own cheesy musical night!! Next birthday is Paula's on Sat were we're goin to the West End of Glasgow. I'm super excited cause I love the West End :D Also on Sat I'm goin shopping with Helen (Bens mum got me a 30.00 House of Fraser gift cert for my birthday, Mac here we come!!) and then we're going to see Iron Man 2 which I'm really excited for. I wanna make a special effort to keep in contact with Helen. I miss her the most of everyone. Considering both Aaron and Michael threw up at my housewarming I can live without seeing them for awhile lol.
Speaking of which, thanks to everyone who came to the housewarming. It was a massive success I would say =) People fighting, people throwing up, people going home with one shoe, singing, dancing and most importantly getting to see al my friends again in the one place. It really did feel like one of the old school house parties of yester-year and for that i'm proud (even though cleaning up in the morning was an absolute bastard) There were times I was stressed oot ma nut (mainly when Ben was spewing and unconcious) but I really really enjoyed myself, which is strange because I rarely enjoy my own parties. So a big ta, and hoping to see you all again sooner rather than later.
P.S Can you believe it's only like a month till Download?!?
