What REALLY happened
Sam makes me sound like an awful person! What really happened was.... I was doing the washing up and held the plate on one side and wiped the other - and the two sides came apart in my hand. I later went for a drink of orange juice, shook the bottle and discovered the lid wasn't on when it went everywhere and the TV stopped working. I then went to sit down and knocked a bowl full of sweets fell off the side and smashed. I saved the sweets but the bowl was beyond saving.
It's not been a good night.
