break any curse:

my small, sweet baby boy
I knew
the moment I held you
that nothing would ever compare;
no love could touch the deep
dark recesses of my heart
the way the smallest twitch
of your fingers did.

so little did I bring with me
from that other world
just trinkets
and memories
and long buried pain.

they say that love
can transcend realms
and I know, now
how true that must be.

for in this world or another,

I would love you
truly
completely
always.
