(no subject)
Phil just called. He made it to his folks home in AL. He really wasn't looking forward to the trip. Still working on getting his dad in a nursing home. Phil says he sounds really drugged - slurring his words. At some point he and his mother will go to the store or his aunts house and they can talk then about how things are going.
Really hate it when Phil goes out of town. Don't mind the time to myself but I do miss him. Course when he is out of town I get the middle of the bed! And I do sprawl.
I'm beat. Woke up at 12:35 and couldn't get back to sleep. The weirdest is that I have 3 co workers who also woke up as 12:35 and had problems getting back to sleep. do dee do do..(okay that's the twilight zone theme).
Not been a bad day today - just tired. I've been making a list of all the things that I'll have to pass on to my manager. Lots of training to do so he can handle my job and his. Should be interesting to see how well he handles it.
I've read my recent posts and most of them have been complaining about one thing or another. Life really isn't that bad. Just using LJ to vent. And I've had some really good days.
Oh, my hubby is the greatest. When I got home last night he had a wrapped present in my chair and then took me out to eat at my fav restaurant. He said it was to celebrate me losing my job. I like his attitude plus his sweetness wanting to cheer me up. What a guy.
