I'm torn about the news. I really liked the manga for quite a while, and then the following happened: Haruhi started developing feelings for Tamaki, who was the one person out of the six boys whom I didn't want Haruhi to end up with. When that happened, I promptly gave up and moved on to other manga.
I'll probably until the first episode airs before making my final decision on whether or not I watch the drama (as I like Yamamoto Yusuke but I'm not thrilled that he's playing my least favorite character). I just hope they don't have the creepy twins from "Mei-chan no Shitsuji" playing the Hitachiin twins.
